Anna Keylina, LCSW

ABOUT ANNA

You bring the part that has been hard to solve. I help us find the part that changes it.

I am warm, direct, curious, and care about understanding you accurately and in context.

WHAT IT IS LIKE TO WORK WITH ME

I listen closely, ask specific questions, and tell you what I notice. If a connection matters, I make it. If we are circling the same point, I help us identify what the circle is protecting.

You will not have to carry the entire session by yourself.

You can arrive without a polished explanation. We can start with the sentence you keep returning to, the decision that will not stay settled, or the reaction that does not make sense at its current size.

Depth is useful. Range makes it responsive.

CLINICAL RANGE

01

Where I have worked

My experience spans complex inpatient and outpatient clinical settings and private practice. It gives me the range to recognize what a problem requires without reducing you to a diagnosis, a category, or a single technique. I am based in Westchester County and work virtually with adults through New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey. I work with many people for whom discretion is especially important.

02

How I am trained

I hold an MSW from New York University and an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University, with advanced postgraduate training through the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy and EMDRIA certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as DNMS certification.

03

What I Bring Now

I use that range to choose the level of structure, depth, and directness the problem requires. You are not reduced to a diagnosis or a category, and the session is not reduced to a technique. I care about understanding you accurately. One of the greatest joys and privileges of my career has been watching people discover who they really are when understood in context.

Sometimes my dog appears in the Zoom frame.

A HUMAN DETAIL

He does not have any clinical responsibilities.

The work is serious without requiring the room to feel formal. There is space for humor, complexity, disagreement, and the ordinary moments that make a real conversation possible.

You do not need to know what to call it in order to start.

Begin with what matters most now. We will make the first session useful and decide together whether continuing makes sense.
