ONLINE ANXIETY THERAPY FOR ADULTS

The mind keeps working because it has not accepted that more thinking may not produce certainty.

Anxiety can look like worry, but it can also look like researching, rehearsing, checking, postponing, or asking the same question in a slightly different way.

WHAT IS HAPPENING

You are not missing information. The threshold for feeling certain keeps moving.

A decision feels settled until a new possibility appears. A conversation is over, but your mind continues preparing a better version of it. Reassurance helps briefly and then becomes one more thing to verify.

We look at what the anxiety is trying to prevent, what keeps the loop credible, and what would let you act without first resolving every unknown.

THIS MAY LOOK LIKE

Start with the part you recognize.

Reopening decisions after you have already made them.

Rehearsing conversations long before they happen.

Treating a feeling of doubt as evidence that something is wrong.

Avoiding action until you can predict every consequence.

Needing reassurance that stops working as soon as the next question appears

Losing hours to research that no longer changes the decision

HOW WE WORK

We make anxiety more specific, then work where it gains authority.

I may question where the standard for enough information keeps moving, identify the consequence you are trying to prevent, or suggest a different response before certainty arrives.

I integrate insight-oriented, behavioral, and somatic approaches to address the different levels of your experience. The aim is not to argue you out of every fear. It is to keep your judgment and range of action available when uncertainty remans.

Let a decision stay made without repeatedly putting it back on trial.

1

Distinguish a possible outcome from an outcome that requires action now.
